Basquiat "Dos Cabezas" T-Shirt

This medium weight cotton T-shirt features "Dos Cabezas," a portrait of Jean-Michel Basquiat with Andy Warhol printed on the front of the shirt. The bottom right of the shirt features a sewn-in woven tag printed with handwritten text from one of Basquiat’s famed notebook pages.

About the Artwork: After meeting Andy Warhol as an established artist, Basquiat painted this double portrait of the pair and sent it to Warhol’s studio, The Factory. Warhol responded by creating portraits of Basquiat, and the two collaborated on numerous works from then on. Dos Cabezas, however, is the only joint portrait of Warhol and Basquiat.
